Cherry Red Records annuncia la pubblicazione di un triplo CD degli Hawkwind intitolato “Dreamworkers of Time – The BBC Recordings 1985-1995”, tutte le registrazioni tenute per la BBC dalla band nei dieci anni del periodo indicato nel titolo. La prima session in studio di questa serie avvenne nell’agosto del 1985 per il programma Friday Rock Show di BBC Radio One. Quella session fu la prima dopo la precedente del 1972. Nei CD un concerto del 1988 tenutosi presso l’Hammersmith Odeon, nell’ambito del tour promozionale dell’album ‘The Xenon Codex”, registrato proprio per la BBC e le session negli studi di Maida Vale del 1985 e 1995 per la prima volta in CD. Il materiale è stato rimasterizzato direttamente dalle bobbine della BBC.
La Cherry Red Records pubblicherà il triplo CD il 25 marzo. Di seguito i dettagli.
