Filippo Tezza: «”The Fire Still Burns” è il primissimo brano che ho composto per questo progetto, inserito nel primo demo (mai pubblicato) del lontano 2006. Proposto ora in chiave completamente ri-arrangiata e registrato adeguatamente, si tratta di un brano heavy-power veloce con una struttura abbastanza semplice ed un rallentamento acustico centrale. Una opener sicuramente atipica all’interno dell’album.»
