“Those Three Words Never Said” è il tema principale intorno al quale ruota il nuovo video degli UNDAWN estratto dal loro album, acclamato dalla critica, “Justice Is…”. Quelle tre parole di cui spesso ci rendiamo conto troppo tardi, quelle parole mai dette o non dette abbastanza. Tre parole catturate in una sola attraverso questa canzone: “FOREVER”.
Il video parla del trauma della perdita di una persona cara e di come la vita, che troppo spesso diamo per scontata, prenda una svolta inimmaginabile e irreversibile. Lungo la traccia il ritmo diventa progressivamente più pesante e potente, fino a raggiungere il suo culmine con un assolo di chitarra ruggente. Lo scenario rappresenta la tempesta di emozioni e il livello di devastazione che si verificano durante il tentativo di venire a patti con la perdita di qualcuno. Arriva poi il momento in cui si prende consapevolezza che le cose non saranno mai più come prima o come avrebbero potuto essere… e sovvengono le parole che non sono mai state dette. Tre semplici parole, spesso etichettate come sdolcinate o come luogo comune, e forse non considerate un tema usuale per una band metal… fino a quando accade l’irreparabile e ci si rende conto di quanto importanti alcune persone erano nella nostra vita e di come la vita è legata a quella degli altri, incolpandoci ripetutamente per la perdita di tutte quelle opportunità …. desiderando avere ancora una possibilità di esprimere quelle tre semplici parole.
Con questa canzone gli UNDAWN colgono l’opportunità di esprimerle con un’affermazione personale: “FOREVER” è un inno ai nostri genitori, che amiamo e rispettiamo fino alla fine. Ci rendiamo conto che un giorno dovremo andare avanti senza di voi, ma resterete nei nostri cuori per sempre. È il nostro modo di dire: “VI VOGLIAMO BENE!”.
“Forever” è il 2° video tratto dall’ultimo album degli UNDAWN, “Justice Is…”, che è stato pubblicato poco meno di un anno fa, album in cui la band è più dinamica, più aggressiva, e il suono è più potente che mai. L’album è una riflessione musicale su come la band, partendo dall’esperienza personale, si interfaccia con la società di oggi, con tutte le sue contraddizioni.
